CROSS OFFA

A walk straddling the border between England and Wales offering wonderful views of the countryside, with almost no climbing necessary.
Take a leisurely stroll around the medieval street layout of Montgomery to see the town’s architectural and historical heritage. Highlights include; the Georgian Town Hall, St Nicholas Church, The Old Goal, Arthur Street Cottages and the Georgian frontages in Broad Street.
Three new, ‘Bus out – Walk back’ walks where you catch a local bus in Montgomery and choose where to alight from several options along the route. You then walk back to Montgomery along your chosen route.
NOTE: Easy to Moderate walking on all three routes

You catch a bus in Montgomery Town centre and alight at one of three specially chosen drop off points. Then walk back to Montgomery along your chosen route.

CORNDON RAMBLE

A beautiful walk crossing the Corndon Hill area, returning to Montgomery through the Camlad Valley and Vale of Montgomery with superb views along the route.
You catch a bus in Montgomery Town centre and alight at Churchstoke, then walk back to Montgomery across Corndon hills with magnificent panoramic views.
